Keynote Speakers

World-leading researchers at the forefront of brain health science.

Agustín Ibáñez

ReDLat Cohort

Agustín Ibáñez

Neuroscientist

Agustín Ibáñez is a neuroscientist whose work focuses on the neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying social cognition and neurodegenerative diseases. His research combines cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging, computational modeling, and behavioral approaches to study how brain disorders affect social and executive functions.

Through large international collaborations, his work has contributed to advancing the understanding of frontotemporal dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and cross-cultural variability in cognitive decline, with a particular emphasis on brain health research in Latin American populations.

Sid O'Bryant

HABS-HD Cohort

Sid O'Bryant

Translational Dementia Researcher

Sid O'Bryant is a researcher specializing in Alzheimer's disease, biomarker development, and translational dementia research. His work focuses on the identification of blood-based biomarkers and precision medicine approaches to improve the early detection and diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases.

He leads large-scale cohort initiatives designed to integrate clinical, biomarker, and population-level data, with the goal of advancing scalable strategies for early diagnosis, risk stratification, and prevention of Alzheimer's disease.
